Dr. Marisa Ionata
About Me
Dr. Marisa Ionata obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with a major in Biochemistry from McGill University in 2010 and a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Montreal in 2015. She has been working in private practice in the Montreal area since 2015 and is a full-time associate at Dr. Brenda Puchinger & Associates Inc.
Dr. Marisa Ionata offers her patients a holistic care model based on evidence, with a personalized focus on prevention. She incorporates new technologies into her practice, including a digital workflow. A perpetual student, she participates in national and international courses. She has been a member of the Spear Study Club for several years and recently completed a program in California at the Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy (IDEA), where she earned a master’s degree in biomimetic restorative dentistry.
In addition to her full-time practice, since 2016, Dr. Marisa Ionata has been teaching preclinical endodontics to third-year dental students at the University of Montreal.
Dr. Marisa Ionata is a member of the Ordre des Dentistes du Québec (ODQ), the Association des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Québec (ACDQ), and the Canadian Dental Association (CDA).
